Tonight I went to the gym with Tim and his friend. Tim drove there and back now that he has his learners permit. I hung on for dear life, and over criticized every move, (his California stops, and his complete stops at yield signs are two things that I tried to correct). All in all he is doing pretty good at driving. We hit the gym late tonight and I was kind of feeling bad that I kept them out so late. Tim reminded me that there is only 3 more days of school left before summer, and one of them is only a half day. I think that this could be a pretty crazy summer, between Mandy's many vacations, Jeff's summer job followed by his hanging out with friends etc.
Kathy on the other hand has just started a new class, and is half way through another.
I think they should have summer vacations for adults, I think that we deserve them. We work hard, stress out over finances, family etc...
I don't know what it would be like to actually swim in my pool instead of work on and build them all day. Do you think it would even be possible for me to get a tan from years of my chest never seeing the sun. Do I remember how to do a dive or am I doomed to belly flopping now that I have lost my cool.
I don't know that I could sleep in, but it would be nice to try, and is the Price is right even still on in the morning?
One thing is for sure, within a week I can guarantee that we will hear "I'm bored".

LOL! You've lost your cool? No way! Not a Mecham! I remember the days of teaching kids to drive--must have been a repeated nightmare for your parents with so many kids. I'd love to have a REAL two week vacation, but I'm not sure I'd know what to do. I would probably have to go somewhere with Internet access or I'd go through withdrawals not blogging. KS sounds like my doctor, by the way. Nice guy and seems to really care.
