Yesterday this is what I saw. Coming out of a 7-11 on Las Vegas blvd and Sahara this guy pulls out on a scooter.
As I turned in behind him I notice that he has a sidecar on his scooter. I'm thinking to myself "who puts a sidecar on their scooter". The answer, This Guy.

As I got closer I notice that he has his dog with him. The only thing that I had to take a picture with was my useless camera phone. Sorry that it is so grainy and hard to see, so I will paint the rest of the picture.
The dog is wearing riding goggles on top of his head. As he is riding down the street is leaning out of the cart enjoying the ride. I have to wonder if this guy really, really loves this dog and has to take him everywhere, or if he is in desperate need of attention. If you notice he has a windscreen for the dog so that he doesn't get wind in his face. Why? The dog loves wind in his face, there is not a dog alive that doesn't stick his head out the window just so that it can get a face full of wind and drool all down the side of the car. The cart is wired with lights on it and probably cost as much as a small car would. The funniest thing about this cart that doesn't show up well on my crappy camera phone picture is the... (trying to think of a delicate non offensive way of saying this...) underneath the dogs cart is a fake set of swinging balls. When the dog sits upright it appears that the dog has somewhat fallen out of the cart. Please keep in mind that this a scooter. The top speed of this thing is maybe 35 mile per hour, now add the weight of the dog, cart and the wind drag from the false swinging prosthetic, and you have made it a hotrod with maybe a 25 m.p.h top speed. I know one thing is for certain, I do not want to be behind this thing when it goes over a speed bump. Only in Vegas Baby, Only in Vegas.
It's probably best that we had the poor quality photo a cell phone produces.
ReplyDeleteI love the visuals I get with your postings! :o) I'm thinking I need to get something like this for my puppies.
