Ok, So I am not going private. I don't have any serious thoughts, and I can't wait to get my new computer from Ron S. . The going private was a lame attempt at an April fools joke. I did get a pretty good one off on Jeff. He earned his very first speeding ticket recently and was due to take care of it by today. I called and made arrangements to have him go in next week. When he texted me to find out if he needed to go in I informed him that I had been trying to get a hold of him. I explained that the ticket should have been resolved before April 1st and he now had a warrant out for his arrest. He asked me what he should do, I informed him to not get pulled over. Ok, that is kind of funny, but it is nothing compared to my devious sister Mindy-Melinda.
This morning while you were all in bed, she was already wreaking havoc. She started up by calling Bri and asking her what had happened, of course Bri had no idea what she was talking about, so Mindy-Melinda asked her what had happened to make our whole family mad at her. Bri called Randy and the version that I heard Bri was almost in tears, Bris version is slightly different and she says that she only fell for it for 15 minutes. She then had my sister Heather (that works in the same dental office show up for the first appointment of the day at 7:30. There was no 7:30 appointment, the office opens at 8:30 or 9:00. Poor Hez showed up and nobody was there. She then called my mom and accidental let it slip that Randy and Bri might be in a family way. This is first thing in the morning. The girl is ruthless. I would love to have been at her house when the kids came home from school and she told them that their dog had been ran over by a lawnmower. These were all very mean, cruel, awful, pranks and that is why she is the queen of April Fools.

UPDATE I have come back to edit this list of mean Mindy-Melinda pranks. She woke up her kids today and informed them that today was all you can eat Donut day at school. For 50 cents you could eat all the donuts you want. The boys jumped up, got dressed, no fighting arguing or anything. Allea was down stairs with her hands on her hips. "I hate donuts" she said. Mindy-Melinda didn't miss a beat. "That's ok because the Jona's Brothers are putting on a free concert at your school today." Allea covered her ears and said " I can't believe I am hearing this" She went nuts and hurried to get ready. Mindy-Melinda-The evil one, drove the kids to school. As they excitedly jumped out of the car and just as the door was starting to close she said "April fools".
Love the cartoon! And I LOVE that Mindy-Melinda! I'll hire her next year to help with pranks--she's GOOD! I really didn't believe that you'd had a serious thought, but then I thought hmmm...maybe he had protein for breakfast and his brain was actually thinking. Glad that your blog isn't going private by the way.

ReplyDeletethat is close....i wasnt all the way cruel tho. i did give all of them .50 to go to the snack shack. And i just saved heather a lecture cuz we all no shes on moms time... (late for everything). bri should be happy i played a joke on her.... made her feel like part of the family. The only one that i kinda felt bad for tricking was my mom!!! ( i did trick the lady at work ill post that one on my blog.
